The "U" searching for that dominance

Posted on: September 4, 2008 3:06 pm

The Canes had some slow years in the 90's, particularly, when were suspended from bowls.  We seem to have lost the touch, whether its coaching or quality player recruits, we will be back to dominance again real soon.  Fortunately enough, we have Coach Shannon, who is here to clean up our immage.  I think its wonderful.  However, I hope in the midst of cleaning that image we don't lose sight of being winners. Because when it all turns around and our players act great on and off the field, and we are great in every aspect of the game, I hope its not too late for Coach Shannon.

We will be back into the top 3 dominating teams in the country real soon. We just need to stick it out, and hope our young recruits can play with the confidence it takes to be winners

The "U" searching for that dominance

You will see a bigger improvement next season. This season that top recruiting class is having to play and we are going through the growing pains. Next year they will not make the mistakes we are making now, we are two plays away from being 5-1 going into Duke. But by the end of the season everyone will see that these Canes are on the way back. All the Talent that Randy is gathering is nothing but amazing. Look at the class he has coming in, three of the top RB's in the country.. We will be back very soon.

The "U" searching for that dominance

We are starting to see these baby canes as called by most grow up. They play one heck of a game in Gainesville and then they totally dominated an undermatched A&M team. If they continue what they did last saturday this week and next against UNC and FSU. We can say they are turning the corner. I like the attitude the team is playing with, either you join us or get beat by us.. Hopefully we get the Gators in a bowl game for a little payback
